About Strong As Steele...

The Strong As Steele Cancer Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was formed to raise funds for the research of ovarian cancer, the support of local patients and families and The Sunshine Kids.  We are strictly a non profit organization, formed by a grass roots effort.  Strong As Steele is completely run by volunteer efforts. We do not have any paid employees so your donations go directly to the people and organizations in need.

This Foundation was founded at Taylor’s request, but in effect, it has also been formed to honor Taylor for her courage, strength and perserverance.  Taylor was a fighter, and an inspiration to many.  As her parents, we  would like to thank everyone for their support and love and we would also like to ask for your continued support in keeping not only the dream alive for Taylor; but to help others keep the hope alive by supporting this Foundation.  We are blessed to live in a remarkable community but we also understand that the hope and compassion that exists in people  far extend beyond our community boundaries into a world where people can, and do make a difference!

As I was going through notes that Taylor left about her foundation, I came across a comment that stuck with me.  Taylor wrote, "When one person cares enough to try and change the world...amazing things happen". How someone so young could articulate so many mature and pointed thoughts still amazes me. 

Taylor was a unique person, full of fun and laughter, beautiful on the outside as well as the inside, caring outgoing, friendly and probably one of the most authentic people I have ever known. It is an honor to be able to continue her work with the Strong As Steele Cancer Foundation.
